Road trip to Colorado,what a great way to start the summer. Since we had an invitation to attend the Air Force Academy graduation, we decided to take the motor home for a ride.
The academy is an impressive place, and the "thunderbirds" put on quite a show. VP Biden gave the graduation address, so lots of security and men in black suits with sun glasses hovering around. He saluted and shook hands with 1040 grads, so must have had a sore arm on Thursday.
We golfed at the academy and in Breckenridge, took a train up Pikes Peek, and drove some scenic highways. Everywhere we went was very green and springy; lilacs and wild flowers blooming, baby calves, antelope playing, fresh cut hay, and running water.
Mother Nature at her finest! America the Beautiful!
